SUPERPOP 2025 KOREA
As part of SUPERPOP 2025 KOREA at KINTEX, one of South Korea’s largest venues for large-scale K-pop productions, Yoshi Sodeoka was invited to present a 5-minute standalone video artwork as part of the festival’s official program. The work, conceived, directed, and animated by the artist, was screened across ten massive video towers within a 360° stage environment enhanced with synchronized lasers and sound.
SUPERPOP is known for pushing the boundaries of live entertainment by merging music, visuals, and technology to create an immersive, multisensory experience. The lineup included global music acts such as aespa, CL, Seulgi, and DPR IAN, alongside contemporary visual artists including Looping Lovers, KSAWERY KOMPUTERY, and VJ WOOO.
Sodeoka’s participation highlighted the festival’s forward-thinking commitment to giving visual art a prominent role within the cultural landscape of live performance.
